Someone asked the question to me this morning as to where there farm would rank if it were just pitchers. So, I threw together a quick analysis that I thought was fun.

I only used the Exponential System because it’s my default reference metric at the moment and I didn’t feel like doing a flushed out analysis.
I also used each organizations entire farm system because again, it was simpler.
The “Standalone Rank” column represents where an organizations farm system would rank if they were reduced to nothing but their arms (both starting and reliever prospects).
Just some final observations.
Pat clearly has the best group of arms in the league. This isn’t shocking considering he has arguably the best farm system in the CPL, but the magnitude of lead he has in this analysis is still incredibly impressive.
For any team to break the top 16 in the stand alone column suggests that they have an impressive array of arms.
In general, the contrast between this ranking, and your systems overall ranking would suggest the level of balance your farm has in terms of if you favor arms or bats. If a team ranked #1 in overall farm system, but is in the middle of the pack in this analysis, that would suggest that they have a massive discrepancy in the number of arms they have relative to the overall talent of their farm.
The bottom 6 on this list are the same teams as the bottom 6 in the overall analysis, although the order is slightly different.
