As featured on the podcast, but factual this time. As a reminder, I rank four Top 100 lists in reverse order, 10 points for a Top 10 prospect, 9 for a prospect 11-20, etc. I give 1 point per Baseball America Top 30 prospect, and to be truly diabolical, I subtract one point for every non-BA Top 30 prospect.
Some interesting tidbits here, as JK has more prospects than have ever been rostered in the 5 years I’ve been tracking farms, and likely only rivaled by Rick’s initial build, maybe. Also, 30 Top 100 Prospects is an absolutely staggering number, the next highest in my history is 23. Vince’s 20 non-Top 30 prospects is also a record, albeit a dubious one.
As for historical scores, this is always mildly amusing. JK continues his torrid glow-up.
