Series Set

After another incredible postseason, we have two pennant winners ready to battle for the Big Red Bat.

In the American League, Fajita Eaters took out Tom Cat’s to win their first ever American League Pennant. Fajita Eaters led the AL in wins this year (207) but couldn’t grab that #1 seed. But it didn’t matter, as they squeaked by Banocolates in the ALDS, and after falling behind early in the ALCS to Tom Cat’s, the Eaters turn on the afterburners and cruised by Tom Cat’s 11-2-3. After so many years of struggle, it’s a sweet victory for this original CPL organization.

In the National League, reigning NL Champ Pro Bowlers handled playoff newbie Nellamaniacs a tough defeat on their way to their second consecutive World Series. In both the NLDS and the NLCS, Pro Bowlers won 10-5-1 against two absolutely fierce competitors, showing the CPL that they are for real and ready to finish the job that they fell short of last season.

And now the 17th CPL World Series is set to begin. The American League East Champion Fajita Eaters (207-125-20, 616, 3rd in Roto) represents that American League as they take on National League Champ Pro Bowlers, who finished second in the National League West (196-139-17, .581, 7th in Roto).

We are all excited to see this matchup, and whoever wins will collect their first ever CPL Championship. Good luck to both teams!
