Lots of tight finishes here.
The division favorites are still mostly projected to win their respective divisions.
One notable exception is Motley Shue, which despite the rough start, is projected to be well within margin of error of the 2nd WC slot in the NL.
Despite closing the gap, Fajita Eaters is still projected to miss out on the playoffs by 4.5 GB. But, be wary, projections have Fajita Eaters heading into the last week 2 games out of winning his division, and 2.5 games back of the 2nd wild card slot. Gonna be a nail biter.
Scared Hitless has had himself a rough start as well, but finds himself in the same position as Fajita Eaters, in a position to make up ground in the last week of the season to eek into the playoffs.
The Big Hurts, despite their hot start, are projected to fade down the stretch, but not so much as to fall out of the race for a wild card spot.
Kelly’s Heroes and Rollin’ Goats, though in “rebuilding” seasons, are still projected to be within striking distance of the NL Wildcard as well, setting up for a 5 way race for the final two playoff spots in the NL.
